To ring in the new year and as a token of our gratitude for your continuous support (and how we just passed 5000 likes – yay!), we are giving away a FREE ENGAGEMENT SHOOT in EUROPE! Though the majority of our audience is in Canada, we do get an outpour of support from our friends in Europe. We are planning to be in Europe for September 2014, so hopefully this giveaway will be a treat for any of our worldwide fans!
TO ENTER: head over to our Facebook Fan Page for more details! The contest closes at 11:59 PM (EST) on Saturday, February 1, 2014 – so you have a little less than a week!
You can also win this as a gift for a friend/family member! What a great gift that would be!
Best of luck to all of the contestants! And thank you again for your kind comments, encouragement and support!
The next few segments will be on the super cute Purvee & Rajbir. We start off today with their mehndhi/garba set at the beautiful Castlemore Golf and Country Club. Beautifully dressed in a colourful lehengha and as always big hair, Purvee was a stunner! After traditional ceremonies, with dhandiyas in hand, the very festive garba began as hands were being adorned with henna. A great time was had by all!

I’m sure you all know Niroshan and Renetha quite well now and it’s finally time for their wedding!
They had a beautiful ceremony joined by many friends and family from all over the globe. The love that they both have for each other shows as there were moments of utter joy and happiness as the couple couldn’t hold in their tears nor their smiles.
I remember while shooting at Niroshan’s house, the power had gone out twice while we were shooting (after going out twice before I got there) and Niroshan was worried that it would happen at the hall as well, considering he lives minutes away. Luckily the last outage happened just as we were leaving the house and nothing happened at the hall!
The wedding took place at the beautiful Scarborough Convention Centre, make up and hair was done by Simple Beauty, while the video was done by our friends at Scopeline Studios.
What an absolutely beautiful couple! Up next, their reception!
We are back and this time with a Civil Ceremony. Thush & Mali are two people who met and became friends in their high school, L’Amoreaux Collegiate Institute, and then 10 years later fell in love – how cute! 🙂
And now, years later, they are getting married! Their civil ceremony took place at J&J Swagat Banquet Hall in Markham and we were delighted to be a part of their day. After a short prayer session, and tradition registration rituals, there were speeches and games – overall it was a happy and fun day.
Mali was dressed in a BEAUTIFUL red, green and indigo designer saree – and credit it must be given to Amplified Soul who took care of her hair and make up for the day. Hope you enjoy the photos 🙂
Looking forward to shooting their engagement shoot, Hindu wedding, and reception in the next few months! 🙂

We were SO stoked when the Ohm Wedding Magazine team approached us to do a 6 page spread in their premier edition! The fact of even being considered to be part of a well-renowned print publication within a mere six months of starting up our business makes us feel so honoured that our photography is being well received by the public. We shot a few different looks for Chandan Fashion and as it was our first crack at fashion photography, it was very exciting to shoot with experienced models (including Ahmed & Prasani who was the cover Model for the last Ohm & Jodi Magazines!)! Make up and hair was done by the fabulous Kavita Suri – coordinating was done by Thadshiga Jeyaseelan of Dreamers Events. We were pretty fortunate to work with such a focused but fun team! Really looking into doing more fashion/beauty work.
Interestingly, we learned about the limitations of doing print photography for fashion businesses. Of course the shots had to be portrait, and full bodied, but also the draping of sarees, the postures, the expressions used – every aspect of the photo was thought out down to the last detail.
BUT! We also took some extra shots for ourselves to enjoy. We love them and hope you do too! 🙂
