Today you are definitely in for a lot of drama! Davinder and Harsee came to us wanting to do a themed shoot that was high in fashion. After finding out how much of a fan Dav is of Bond films, there was no need to look further.
Dav and Harsee are kind of a photographer’s dream couple – so clearly in love, gorgeous, organized, and dedicated to working hard to get great work. Every item I asked them to get, they found them and then some. We had such an awesome time shooting at One King West with them. From the lobby, to the bar, to of course, the vault – it was an absolute perfect fit for their theme.
It certainly doesn’t hurt to have a pro behind the scenes. Our great friend (and one of our preferred vendors), Manpreet, of Exquisite Make Up Artistry came through with perfect waves and dramatic make up. I must admit to hesitating when suggesting this look as I’ve asked many stylists in the past to complete this look and to be honest none have executed it the way that I had hoped (it more like loose curls or crimped waves than true vintage waves). But Manpreet pulled it off beautifully! Make sure to check out more of her work on her Facebook Fan Page! Beyond a little help from some pros, we don’t have to tell you how stunning they are. Dav, in a tux, looked very GQ. And Harsee was nothing short of a stunner; oozing in beauty – she toed that fine balance of edginess and elegance magnificently. They vogued, posed, dipped, and did everything with a smile – cannot wait to work with them again for their wedding next year.
Let the Skyfall with Davinder and Harsee. Hope you enjoy!
We are here today with a special summer treat! Jenn wanted to have something a little different and so she called in a favour and got permission from a farmer to use his barn and horses. Annuj & I haven’t really been around horses so we were in complete awe of these truly majestic creatures. Here are a few of our faves.

Today we come to you with an extremely cute engagement shoot! Purvee was a friend of ours before we had even met each other. Attending Ryerson University, she met Annuj through school and I met her through my brother who also went to Ryerson. Purvee is a five foot two inch beauty – bursting with energy, positivity and happiness. She came to us with so many ideas and props that she wanted to use for her shoot and we absolutely loved it! Her fiance, Rajbir, towers over her, but is such a sweetie! Hence the nickname “bear” – he really is like a teddy bear! This was obvious inspiration for one of her props. She wore a stunning anarkalli and paired it with some big hair; make up was done by another friend of ours, the ultra-talented Puja Suri of Kiss and Make Up! We started off at the U of T downtown campus and went to Yorkville to end the shoot. In between we grabbed some teppanyaki from Yakamoto and the conversation and questions brought up by Purvee kept me laughing the whole way through – she is just so cute! Hope you enjoy some snaps from their engagement session!
Very excited to shoot their wedding ceremonies just weeks away!
Today we’re so excited to bring you photos from Alice & Stephen’s wedding! They had a beautiful Catholic wedding followed by a stunning reception at the Arta Gallery in the Distillery District in Toronto.
Stephen’s house was filled with Hindi music and laughter when we came through the door. He has such a lively and happy family; you could definitely feel the love in the house. Alice was an absolutely stunning bride. Her dress was fabulous and her hair and make up was on point! She got ready at her brother’s condo. Now her brother has a dog, which sheds a little bit and as you can see from one of the photos below, Alice has some dedicated bridesmaids at her side, attacking her dress with lint removing sheets to make sure all of the fur was off her dress before her big walk down the aisle!
Their ceremony went off without a hitch and we moved on to their bridal party shoot at the very cool Evergreen Brickworks! From there, we went to the Arta Gallery in the Distillery District. Their location was filled with elegant touches of white flowers and feathers – it was beautiful! The night was fully catered by “The Food Dudes” and we must say, the food was absolutely delicious! They need to open up a restaurant because we cannot wait for another wedding to be catered by them again! After Alice & Stephen’s first dance, the cutting of the cake, and the daddy-daughter dance were some extremely heartfelt speeches. Here are a few of our favourites from their big day.
Overall a wonderful night with a great couple. Stephen & Alice, we wish you nothing but the best!
